Rosacea is a stubborn chronic inflammatory skin disease that affects 10% of the population. Rosacea skin is always sensitive. It is hard to recognize at first. It is worth paying attention to these symptoms: tense, burning sensations, frequent blushing, diffuse redness on the face, chin, nose and forehead, in addition, burst capillaries, spots and purulent pimples may appear later. Unfortunately, the exact cause of rosacea is still unknown, but its frequency is noticeably higher in white-skinned women between the ages of 20 and 50. Many factors, such as age, genetics, environmental influences - fragrances, household chemicals, or e.g. hot baths, strenuous exercise, alcohol, spicy foods. Some dyes can also irritate the skin, but even stress, mechanical effects, eating habits... all of these can contribute to the development of rosacea.
