5% Niacinamide natural monoserum to normalize sebum
Niacinamide is one of the most versatile skin vitamins. Anyone with problem skin has surely heard of it. If not, now is the time, because it is a multifunctional ingredient that can provide solutions for many skin problems.
Niacinamide, or vitamin B3, is mainly a long-term solution for problematic skin by participating in the restoration of the skin's disrupted barrier function, which is generally the cause of skin problems. In addition to the fact that its presence is essential for the proper functioning of the skin's protective barrier, it provides first aid for many specific skin problems: oily skin, inflammations, acne, blemishes, scars.
It is one of the best active ingredients against acne, as it helps normalize sebum production and is also an excellent anti-inflammatory. Not only does it fight acne, but we can also count on it for post-regeneration. It helps with scarring and fades pigment spots caused by UV rays.
It is also a number one ingredient against large pores. Loose pores become clogged faster and more often with dead skin cells and sebum, creating an excellent breeding ground for bacteria that cause blackheads and acne. Niacinamide strengthens and tightens the walls of the pores, thus significantly reducing their size and thus the number of blockages.
The icing on the cake is that it also reduces the skin's transepidermal water loss, leaving the skin feeling fresh and refreshed.
It is important to mention the amount of active ingredient used in the serum! Sometimes less is more, and this is especially true in the case of niacinamide. Based on dermatological research, it is most effective when applied at 4%. Using a larger amount can cause the opposite mechanism of action in more reactive skin: rashes, irritation, restless skin condition.
